  "이처럼 사랑하사"는 헬라어로 후토스 가르 에가페센으로 요한복음 3:16을 시작하는 강렬한 첫마디입니다. 여기 '후토스(이처럼)'는 '그처럼 무한하게, 그처럼 헤아릴 수 없이, 극진히' 라는 뜻인데, '극진히'는 마음과 힘을 다하여 애를 쓰는 것이 매우 지극하다는 의미입니다.또 '에가페센(사랑)'은 자기 희생의 무한한 사랑을 뜻하는 아가페의 동사형으로 죄인인 인간에 대한 가장 숭고한 사랑을 뜻합니다. 이 사랑은 어떤 한계도 어떤 조건도 초월하는 무궁한 사랑이요, 희생적 사랑이요, 무한히 베푸시는 사랑이요, 죄를 증오하는 사랑이요, 하나님이 먼저 우리를 사랑하신 사랑입니다(요일 4:10, 19).그 사랑이 오늘도 이 세상 역사를 존재케 하는 원동력이요, 우리를 구원으로 이끄시는 강력입니다.

• 미 항공 우주국(NASA)은 우주 탐사선 카시니-호이겐스 호가 수집한 토성과 그 주변 위성의 소리를 공개한 적이 있습니다. 물체가 급속도로 회전할 때에는 소리를 발하는 법이니, 하나님의 그 손끝에서 회전 운동하는 무수한 별과 별 사이에는 엄청난 소리가 울릴 것입니다. 그러나 그 소리는 시끄러운 굉음이 아니고 조화 속에 함께 노래하는 것과 같다고 하나님이 말씀하셨습니다(욥38:7). 그러므로 우주는 수천억 교향곡이요 대주재의 악기라 할 것입니다.이러한 우주의 교향악에 대하여 시편 19:2에는 "날은 날에게 말하고 밤은 밤에게 지식을 전하니"라고 말씀하고 있습니다.여기 '말하고'는 히브리어 나바의 사역형으로 '분출하다, 쏟아내다, 샘솟듯하다, 용솟음치다'라는 뜻입니다. 낮 동안에 천하 만물이 하나님의 창조 섭리를 찬양하며 그 영광을 모두 분출하듯 쏟아내면서 연이어 오는 낮에게 빠짐없이 전수한다는 의미입니다. 그래서 하루가 지난 뒤에 또 낮이 올 때 전날과 한결같은 질서를 이루고 있다는 실로 위대한 찬양입니다.

• "비블로스 게네세오스 이에수 크리스투"마태복음 1:1의 예수 그리스도의 세계에서 '세계'는 세상(world)이 아니라 족보(genealogy)라는 말입니다. 헬라어로 비블로스 게네세오 시작, 기원, 근원, 실존을 의미하는 게네시스의 소유격 입니다.그러므로 마태복음 1:1의 '세계'는 원어로 '계보의 책, 역사의 책, 기원의 책'이라는 뜻입니다. 이와 같은 말씀이 마태복음 1:18 상반절에도 "예수 그리스도의 나심은 이러하니라..."고 언급되고 있는데, 여기 "나심"의 헬라어도 같은 게네시스 입니다.구약의 "천지의 창조된 대략"(창 2:14)에서 ... '대략'이라는 말은 마태복음 1:1의 세례와 같은 비블로스 게네세오스로 번역되어 있습니다. 특히 게네시스의 경우 마태복음이 기록될 당시에 벌써 70인역 '창세기(Genesis)'의 표준 칭호로 확정되었음을 볼때, 마태복음을 시작하면서 '게네시스'를 기록한 것은 창세기를 생각나게 합니다. 이런 의미에서 마태복음 1장의 예수 그리스도의 족보는 .... 신구약 전체의 시작과 기원을 선포하는 것으로 볼 수 있습니다. 말하자면 예수 그리스도를 통한 새창조(게네시스)를 선언한 것입니다.

I saw the light of the great lamp of Thy salvation through this book.

I praise Thee, almighty Father.

How great is this? How awesome is this?

How wonderful, amazing this gospel you prepared for me even before the world began?

O Lord, how many are Thy works! In wisdom Thou hast made them all. The earth is full of Thy possessions (Ps 104:24)

Who can understand this?

Who was able to imagine that there were such beautiful whisperings in bible,

in your Words like this?I worship your Word.I praise your Word.

The Word that holds the universe, the Word that achieve the covenant!!

The everlasting, lovingkindness, unfailing promises of You, my Lord.

How can I describe your tears in this book in worldly expressions?

I saw your generous smiles, even on the cross, sheding blood in this book.

I heard your crying, mourning for my soul in agony in this book.

The hot wind of your zeal for salvation havs been blowing..

I'm just a worm like Jacob, Father!(Isa 41:14)

I was a beast before Thee.(Ps 73:22)

Nevertheless Thou has taken hold of my right hand through this Word of love.

Whom have I in heaven but Thee??

and beside Thee, I desire nothing on earth! (Ps 73:22)

In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust (Ps 56:4)

I am sure of this, King of Peace.

All the nations, all the people will drink this living water and eat this living Manna,

Then they'll believe Your Words, will sing your praise.(Ps 106:12)

I pray with this word you gave to me in Spirit.

"And when the Gentiles heard this,

they [began] rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord;

and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.: (Act 13:48)

You are God who reveals your self existence by the Word.

Only your Word is true,

The words that you have given us, spoken to us are Life and are Spirit(John 6:63)

I exalt Your name, Eternal Father.

I'm so glad. It is honor to read this book.

Rev. Park weaves the book out of the words, bible itself. Indeed!!!
